What is Freedom?
Oxford Languages describes Freedom as: the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.
America was founded on the idea of Freedom, among other things. After reading the above quotes, and looking at the current state of America, it is quite apparent that America has changed.
“If freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.” – George Washington
There are many Americans that still value Freedom, some of which even fight to defend it.
Censorship in America
In recent months, America has experienced censorship, oppression and persecution of specific individuals and groups. It is no longer safe to speak one’s mind. Actors and actresses are losing jobs over merely expressing their own political opinions. Republican party members have been and are still being banned from some of the most popular social media platforms. Businesses are pulling the plug on competitors in ways that are immoral and unjust.
Fear vs. Courage
Fear is the new normal. Fear is not inherently bad though, as it gives us the opportunity to be great.
Unfortunately, many American’s are giving in to their fear, and at the same time giving up their “inalienable rights”. It doesn’t matter which “side” you think yourself to be on. Everyone deserves to be treated equally. Everyone deserves freedom, and it is sad to see it being denied to so many. Do not let fear consume you. Do not surrender your freedom to fear.

We, as Americans, need to take a stand for Freedom. We need to come together as a great nation once again. In order to make a difference though, we need to pay attention to what is happening around us. We cannot stand idly by and watch as America continues to decline.
What is Morality?
Oxford Languages defines Morality as: principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong, or good and bad behavior.
America has been experiencing a steady moral decline for quite some time now.
“We must own up to the fact that laws and regulations alone cannot produce a civilized society. Morality is society’s first line of defense against uncivilized behavior. Religious teachings, one way of inculcating morality, have been under siege in our country for well over a half a century.” – Walter E. Williams is a professor of economics at George Mason University
The root of America’s problem
Some people blame Hollywood, some blame the Government, but in truth it is a personal responsibility. If we, the people, can be moral and teach morals to our children, then we will be able to turn the tide of moral decline.
The problem with today’s society is that we allow others to teach our children. Many parents shirk the responsibility of educating their children, and rely on movies, television, music, media, and worst of all the Government to teach morality.
What can patriotic Americans do?

- Live a moral life. Lead by example.
